Garment Manufacturing in Karachi Since 1986

Faraak is a family-run stitching unit, forty years old this year. We made our name making girls' frocks, some of the most detailed garments in the trade. Today we produce kidswear, t-shirts, and hospital linen for brands and institutions in Pakistan and abroad.

Tell us what you want to make. We will tell you honestly what it costs and how long it takes.

What we make

Three things we do well, and say so plainly

If your design has detail, frocks are the work we know best. We also run knits and institutional linen.

Kids' frocks and dresses

Our original trade. Gathered skirts, frills, piping, linings, smocking. If your design has detail, this is the work we know best.

Fabrics

Lightweight wovens are our home ground

Frocks, dresses, and kurtis all live in light fabrics, where mistakes show and shortcuts fail. Forty years in these cloths taught us their behavior: how lawn shifts under the needle, how linen creases, how twill holds a line.

Lawn & voile

60–90 GSM

Frocks, summer dresses, kurtis needing soft fall and clean gathers

Cotton cambric & poplin

90–130 GSM

Kidswear and kurtis. Crisp, durable, kind to detailed stitching

Linen & linen blends

120–180 GSM

Premium dresses and kurtis. Demands accurate cutting, the work we like

Cotton twill

180–280 GSM

Structured pieces, pinafores, workwear, institutional items

Polyester & poly-cotton

90–200 GSM

Hospital sheeting, uniforms, budget-sensitive runs

Knits (jersey, pique)

140–220 GSM

T-shirts and polos, finished on overlock and twin needle

Working in a fabric not listed here? Ask us. If it can be stitched on our machines, we will tell you honestly, and if it cannot, we will say that too.

A note from the owner

Forty years taught us one thing

I am Asad Ali Khatri. My family started this unit in 1986, and I run it today.

Forty years in this business taught us one thing above all: a missed delivery costs more than any order is worth. So we quote honestly, we commit carefully, and we deliver what we commit.

Send us your design. You will hear back from me within one working day.

Owner, Faraak
